FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is translation into German important?
English-language press releases are generally not published on German-language websites. A translation into German is therefore essential to achieve maximum reach and impact in the German-speaking market.
How far in advance should we submit the press release to ensure timely distribution?*
We recommend submitting press releases at least one day before the planned publication. Depending on length and complexity, a few hours in advance may also be sufficient.
* Applies to press releases with a maximum length of 1,500 words.
How long does the translation take?*
The processing time depends on the length and complexity of the press release as well as the chosen translation method:
- Specialist translations by our experts: Usually completed within up to 5 hours during our office hours. This option ensures the highest precision, consistent terminology, and wording adapted to the target culture.
- AI-assisted translations: Available much faster, but generally less precise and less adapted to the target culture.
* Applies to press releases with a maximum length of 1,500 words.
Can the German translation be published before the English original release?
No. The original release is legally binding and must first be published in Canada or the USA before we can distribute it in our network.
Are images included?
Yes. The inclusion of images is free of charge.
What format should press releases have?
Word documents are preferred, as they are the most efficient for editing.
Is performance tracking possible?
We are working on providing more detailed reporting.
Currently, we cannot offer comprehensive open or click statistics, as most of the over 400 websites in our distribution network do not share this data with us.
Only a few platforms, such as Finanznachrichten.de and Wallstreet-Online, provide access to such figures. Therefore, we can only provide an estimate of the total number of views and clicks.
